We are pleased to announce that Chancery Lane will be reopening for lunch and dinner from Wednesday 28th July. Please bear with us as we adapt to adhere to density limits.
We thank you for your patience and ongoing support and look forward to welcoming you back! – The Chancery Lane team.
The acquisition of our newest site in Little Collins Street sees our first footprint into the top end of Melbourne’s CBD. Housed in the historic Normanby Chambers building, Scott Pickett and the team have re-imagined the former Bistro Vue site to become an instant classic. Returning to its most successful incarnation, Chancery Lane will return the space to a European-inspired bistro – albeit with an edge.
Like its name, the fit-out pays homage to a previous era; a space where opulence and luxury served as a refuge from life outside and a chance to indulge in the finer things. The fare sees Scott and Head Chef Rob Kabboord reference traditional techniques in a list of classic dishes with a modern edge. Open all day, Chancery Lane intends to return to its status as a Melbourne institution.
